About the course

Are you able to identify which of your organisations business processes add value to your consumers and which do not? Many businesses today carry on with activities without truly knowing their value.

Based on manufacturing process improvement methodology – famously implemented by the Toyota car company – Value Stream Mapping (VSM) can apply to all aspects of understanding and improving business processes. It provides a well-defined toolset to identify and remove the non-value adding activity from your business and improve processes to help you become more efficient and effective, and with a customer focus in mind.

This course provides a framework for setting up, managing and completing a VSM exercise. Real world examples of both successful and less than perfect implementations help you understand how to really make VSM work in your organisation.
