about

As of this month, PwC Luxembourg is accepting Bitcoin payments from its clients. PwC say they are doing this to reflect a growing demand from both the market and their clients. Bitcoin is ten years old and has had a turbulent lifecycle so far, both in terms of its price fluctuations and volatility, and in terms of public perception.

However, Thomas Campione, Director, Blockchain and Crytpo-assests Leader of PwC Luxembourg says, "As part of the firm's market assessment, what quickly became clear is that we could not continue to invest in the field, promote it, build solutions for clients and support their transformation while not also being exposed to it." The firm believe that they can only understand and react to the challenges in the crypto-currency world by being exposed to the complexities of crypto-currencies i.e. in this case, Bitcoin, as a form of payment.
