What 2024 Will Bring
Where are we heading? The beginning of the year is always a good time
to look back at the previous 12 months and ahead to the future.
It’s customary at this time of the year to look back at the last twelve months and reflect on what we can learn, and simultaneously to look forward to the next period and try and work out what lies ahead. There are those who would argue that such traditions are a bit pointless, but I am not so sure. After all, surely reflection is a good thing. It’s a way of considering where we are doing well and also where we could do better. The world is changing all the time and we need to change with it or be left behind.
Finance professionals are not immune from such reflections. In fact, they need to focus heavily on such thoughts at the current time as many things are in flux in the world of business and accountancy.
