This short course presents a short-term global PEST analysis to help you stay on top of key global trends for 2024-25.

In order to support effective decision making, accountants must fully understand the current context in which businesses or clients operate. 2024 is shaping up to be an interesting and increasingly uncertain year with a lot going on in every area of the PEST analysis.

The risks to global economic growth are real and much revolves around geo-political issues, such as the outcome and repercussions of key elections and conflicts. Migration and climate change remain major factors influencing government policy, markets, and industries. Meanwhile, technological advancements, particularly in AI, will dominate the landscape.
