Excel: Copilot and Excel

Part of a series on 2024 Excel. In this short course we examine Copilot, a powerful AI-driven Microsoft Office feature, that can perform a variety of typical Excel tasks, from highlighting data that meets specific criteria, to writing formulas and producing PivotTables.

This module will enable you to

  • Highlight, sort, and filter data based on specific criteria
  • Use Copilot to answer "How to" questions
  • Create and develop more complex formulae with Copilot assistance
  • Analyse data to extract insights and create visualisations

About the module

The introduction of the wonderfully named Copilot - an AI assistant integrated into Microsoft 365 that uses natural language processing to assist with various tasks, will empower Excel users to achieve more.

You can use Copilot to write formulas, analyse data, and get answers to "how to" questions using natural language prompts.
