About the course

You might not associate the skill of writing with the accountancy profession. However, being able to present your ideas and arguments in a compelling way, that helps your clients or your organisation to make good decisions, is an increasingly important skill for accountants.

This course will take you through all of the factors to consider in order to present your ideas effectively and influence colleagues and clients.

It will help you understand your audience, build convincing rational arguments and make personal and emotional connections. You will also look at structure and tone, grammar, consistency and editing, in order to develop a writing process that works for you.

The course is packed with useful content and techniques to help improve persuasive writing skills, but I believe the material could have been covered in two hours by removing less relevant content.
