4. Technology

    Many changes that were talked about in recent times have happened and been accelerated by Covid.. In the longer term when the dust settles it may prove to be as advantageous to employees as well as employers.

    In my opinion, all the above skills are vital to invest in ,but communication and resilience should be top priority.

    Continous learning should be a requrment for all accountants. That and a mind that is open to new ideas and tfor the need to change from what no longer works to that which does.

    All five skills are important while resilience and leadership skills are drivers to move the organization out of difficulties. Yet, these are skills much harder to train than others.

    I agree, all these 5 skills are important but resilience/ ability to adapt is a driver.

    I agree that these 5 skills are top skills needed in overcoming and adapting to challenges brought on by the pandemic. But I think that leadership is restricted to one person - it should be any staff who faces the situation which requires his quick decision or who deals with clients directly.

    While these skills have equal importance, providing leadership to our organization and clients to help them make the changes required, is a skill that allows us to adapt to changes and use available technology to communicate efficiently with our colleagues and clients.
