Australia 2025: Code of Professional Conduct
Part of a series on 2025-26 Australian Updates. Eight new obligations for registered tax and BAS agents have been introduced under the Code of Professional Conduct, with the aim of boosting public confidence and trust in the tax profession. This short course will walk you through the implications.

About the module
The Tax Agent Services (Code of Professional Conduct) Determination 2024 introduces changes to the Code of Professional Conduct, which sets out the professional and ethical obligations that apply to all registered tax agents and BAS agents.
This module explores the eight new obligations that have been added to the Code, and will help you to apply these in your day to day working life.
